ODBC 4 ALL is a 32 bit Windows utility designed to easily allow any application, including DOS, to run SQL queries using any ODBC data source, (Access, Informix, MySql, Oracle, Sql Server, ...), redirecting the output to the screen, an ascii file / table or a DBF table.
When run in interactive mode, you can interactively choose the ODBC Data Source and Table, then insert the SQL command to send to the database server to see the resulting data on a screen grid.
To use it inside a 3rd party application, you can create an ascii configuration file, then run ODBC4ALL.EXE to obtain the results of the SQL query into the desired output format.
In this case user intervention is not required. Even the error messages could be redirected to an ascii file (for example if the SQL query contains a syntax error, or if the database server is unreachable because the server PC is down) allowing the running application to check for errors before managing the results.
Ascii tables are particularly useful to obtain data views which are automatically printable using our Printfil - Windows Printing System for Applications software: http://www.guolo.com/printfil
The two modes can be mixed, allowing you to run it in interactive mode obtaining an ascii output file or to run it from within your application only to automatically show the results of the query to the user. 28

This software allows character based applications to print to any Windows printer, including USB, network printers, faxmodems and PDF writers, even if it is a Dos/Windows application or a Unix/Linux app. running on a Windows PC via telnet, without changes to the original applications.
You can set your application to print to an ascii file, or you can have Printfil capturing a parallel port output, automatically redirecting your print jobs to any printer, even if a printer is phisically connected to the captured port.
In addition, it will allows you to:
- preview printing
- include logos or other images stored in separate files
- colorize the text
- print A4 landscape sheets instead of printing on dot-matrix 136-column printers
- print to USB, GDI, Windows-only and Virtual printers installed on the Windows Control Panel
- send the print jobs via fax (using any third-party fax software acting like a printer - i.e. Microsoft Fax - or a multifunction - all-in-one - printer)
- print to networked printers without having to "NET USE" a LPT port
- use special fonts (barcodes, for instance) as well as normal characters
- exporting the print jobs in PDF format, with or without user intervention
- use your own, single set of escape sequences for ALL the printers, regardless of supported emulation (or no emulation at all, as for Virtual and Windows-only printers)
- and other interesting features.
All this without changes to your applications.
If you are developing host based applications (like Unix) and the clients are using them with a Windows Terminal Emulator, you can stop to fight with transparent-print characters and different settings for different printers. All you need is a shared file system (NFS, SCO-VisionFS, Samba and others) where to store output for your print jobs and PRINTFIL. 66

Factorizer is a Windows program to find factors of numbers up to 2,147,483,646 and to find primes, pairs of primes and Palmen colors of numbers.
Or in more detail, Factorizer may be used:
(1) to get the prime decomposition of all numbers in a range of numbers,

Kaleider manipulates images to emulate various Kaleidoscope, Mirroring, 3D Mirroring and Funneling effects. It is a capable graphics tool for people who are interested in tiling, tessellation and mosaic patterns, with controls for manipulating images and tiles. Effects can be shifted interactively by clicking and dragging with the mouse, essentially re-rendering the same effect based on different relative positions within the source image, allowing you to experiment with the results and decide when a picture suits your taste.
Aside from any usefulness though, Kaleider is really just entertaining and fascinating to watch while in Automatic Effects mode, with an endless variety of randomly selected effects wandering across the screen according to randomly selected patterns. The Rooms feature exhibits Kaleider patterns in 3D perspectives, optionally with automated Roaming motion. This visual experience can also be accompanied by music from the built-in Audio Player.
